The other day I was skim reading a blog that I follow. The main purpose of this blog is to help other bloggers grow their blog platform followership and increase engagement. The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the biggest reason a lot of blogs don’t get much traction. It is because those blogs don’t contribute anything to the lives of potential followers. I realized that is my blog. I don’t challenge my readers to action. I don’t even have any thought-provoking questions for them to answer. Many of the blogs I have taken something from in the past have at least challenged me to action in some manner.
Now that this concept is in the front of my brain I am going to work to go through all previous posts and create some type of interactive piece like a call to action. This way I will fulfill my purpose inspiring people to follow their dreams. As Yolanda Adams sang in “Never Give Up”:
Keep the dream alive don’t let it die, if something deep inside keeps inspiring you to try, don’t stop.
