Self Help Advancement

This quote from a book I am reading and loving truly hit me just now. “If you’re serious about changing your life, you’ll find a way. If you’re not, you’ll find and excuse.” Lately, I have been on this push to play catch up on the books I have read this year to match the week we are on, so I can get closer to the goal of reading 52 weeks books this year. The most recent two have been self-help; change your life themed books. I am working to complete the second one while doing he work assigned in the first one. This quote truly challenged me to stop saying and hoping for things to change, but actually changing the circumstances in my life. While reading today, there was a section that talked about claiming/speaking things into existence and actually doing the necessary work to make these things come to fruition. I set a rather lofty goal in my head when I read that and I am now going to take the first couple of actions toward making it come to past.
