Self-Reflecting Epiphany

While at work today I had a realization about something I was reading in my devotional and listening to “Hail Holy Queen” from Sister Act. The realization is I tend to complain about other people in my home church and other churches who don’t invite people to join them at church. I had to turn that finger around and point it at myself. I have not invited other people to join me at my church in a long time. I also reflect on the fact that when I took a “Spiritual Gifts” survey one of my weaker areas was being a disciple. I know we all have gifts that are meant to lift God’s word up, but we are also all supposed to go and make disciples to continue spreading the good news. I guess I need to do some soul searching, praying, and discovery on why I don’t feel comfortable or am not successful with discipleship.
